# Families

> Families group related Agents without becoming conversations themselves.

A **Family** organizes related Agents. It is a group in the sidebar, not a
conversation or an Agent of its own.

## Create and arrange a Family

1. Drag one Agent onto another Agent to create a Family containing both.
2. Drag another Agent onto a member of that Family to add it.
3. Expand or collapse the Family from the sidebar as needed.

There is no separate flow for creating an empty Family. A Family begins when you
group Agents together.
