An Automation is recurring work owned by one Agent. Each run starts with clean execution context, and its result returns in a labeled Side Chat under the owning Agent.

Create and manage Automations

  • Open Automations in the current Agent’s right drawer.
  • Create or edit recurring work from that panel.
  • Or ask the Agent to create, change, pause, resume, or delete an Automation.
When an Agent proposes an Automation change, Turnstone shows a review card before applying it. The Agent cannot silently create or alter the schedule.
Automations use Turnstone’s in-app scheduler, not cron or Windows Task Scheduler. They run only while Turnstone is alive.
