Browser is Turnstone’s human-controlled web browser in the current Agent’s right drawer. Use it to keep a website or web app beside the conversation without leaving Turnstone.

Open Browser

  1. Open the current Agent’s right drawer.
  2. Choose New tab (+) → Browser. If the drawer is showing its home view, choose Browser there instead.
  3. Enter a website address or search in the Browser toolbar.
Browser tabs belong to the current Agent and last for the current app session. Website sign-ins and other site data stay in that Turnstone account’s local Browser profile, so closing a tab does not normally sign you out.

Profiles and sign-in

Browser starts with a local Turnstone profile. On macOS, you can also import a copy of a compatible Chrome or Arc profile from the Browser profile control. Import is a one-time snapshot and may not preserve every login. Browser profile import is currently unavailable on Windows. Website session data remains on the device and is not included in Turnstone’s cloud account sync.

Agent access

Viewing or signing into a website does not automatically grant the Agent access to your tab. When an Agent needs to interact with a website, Turnstone uses a separate access flow and an Agent-owned Browser tab. Current permissions remain authoritative.
Browser supports HTTPS websites and local development pages on loopback addresses such as localhost. Insecure public HTTP pages are blocked.
